Cara completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria in 2012, and her Masters of Rehabilitation Science through the University of British Columbia in July 2018. In 2010 she started her career in health and wellness in the research community, coordinating projects and fitness testing for the Behavioural Medicine Lab at UVic. Since moving into therapeutic treatment as a practicing Kinesiologist in 2012, Cara’s focus has been on active rehabilitation for a variety of workplace and car accident related injuries, as well as long term pain management, exercise program development, and functional training for life. Cara also has training in progressive goal attainment programming, and has a special interest in how physical activity helps to improve mental health. Her goal is always to build an accessible, individualized program for each of her clients based on their needs and goals.
