Abigail holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics and is a practicing Kinesiologist through the BCAK. Originally from a small town in Saskatchewan, she relocated to Golden, BC to pursue post-secondary education before moving to Kelowna in 2021. Abigail brings a diverse background in outdoor recreation, sport, and movement-based work, which informs her practical, client-centred approach to care.

Abigail is passionate about helping individuals move with greater confidence, strength, and independence at every stage of life. While she enjoys working with a wide range of clients, her primary clinical interest is supporting older adults in maintaining their independence through strength training, balance development, fall prevention, and functional movement. She believes that any movement is better than no movement and focuses on meeting clients where they are, creating realistic, individualized programs that build confidence and promote long-term success. Whether helping someone prepare for surgery, recover from injury, improve everyday mobility, or confidently get up from the floor, Abigail is committed to making movement approachable, meaningful, and sustainable.

Using evidence-informed exercise prescription, movement education, and supportive modalities, Abigail works collaboratively with clients to improve function and enhance their ability to participate in daily activities. In addition to movement-based rehabilitation and training, she provides orthopaedic bracing, athletic taping, and compression sock fittings as complementary components of care, helping clients feel supported, comfortable, and confident in their work, recreation, and everyday lives.

Earlier in her career, Abigail gained valuable experience as a member of the medical team for the Okanagan Sun Football Club, where she supported athletes with injury management and return-to-play. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys staying active through mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and backpacking—experiences that continue to reinforce her appreciation for movement as an essential part of lifelong health and well-being.
