Aaron recently graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Honours in the Active Health and Rehabilitation Concentration. His love for athletics and science motivates his approach as an evidence-based, physical wellness professional.
With 5 years of experience as a youth coach with Drive Basketball and 2 years as a student trainer with SFU Athletics, Aaron specializes in age-appropriate and experience-appropriate strength training. He supports athletes through injury, guiding them through return-to-sport protocols.
Aaron also works at a diabetes clinic, where he helps patients navigate lifestyle changes related to exercise and metabolically complex conditions. He practices a compassionate, scientifically grounded approach and is pursuing the esteemed Clinical Exercise Physiologist designation with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP).
His research interests include disease management and physiological responses to acute illness. He completed an undergraduate honours thesis at Royal Columbian Hospital, studying critically ill patients’ respiratory and cardiovascular responses to mechanical ventilation.
Outside the clinic, Aaron enjoys basketball, running, biking, and swimming. He volunteers with young adult outreach programs and youth sport initiatives. He loves to travel and explore new places, most recently Vienna and the United Kingdom (he highly recommends Café Central in Vienna!).
