Amiah is a Simon Fraser University graduate with her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. Currently, Amiah works as Kinesiologist in Surrey. She specializes in working in customized active rehabilitation programs for return to work clients, ICBC, WSBC and private clients with active rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, mental health and exposure therapy in clinic and the community pool. Although Amiah is a clinical Kinesiologist, Amiah has worked as mobile Kinesiologist as well. Previously, she has volunteered as a student athletic trainer for the Salmonbellies Jr. Lacrosse team and Sullivan Heights Secondary school football team. She has also acquired great leadership and teaching skills by leading Sunday School classes, summer camps, fundraisers and various events and working at a children's gym, both through in person and online platforms. Amiah desires to expand her knowledge and experience in the field of Kinesiology. When Amiah is not working or studying, she loves to explore nature by running and hiking. In addition, she also loves photography and cinematography.
