Tailynn graduated with a BSc in Kinesiology with honors from McGill University. As a varsity athlete competing in rugby, she was constantly surrounded by sport-related injuries, especially concussions and knee and shoulder injuries. Her experience as a female athlete inspired her to continue researching injury mechanisms and the effect of gender/sex on injury incidence. Tailynn’s honors research focused on ACL knee injuries and understanding the broader cognitive factors that contribute to injury. She strives to use her knowledge and experience to empower the process of returning to sport through active rehabilitation and a love of sport.
Prior to working at Kin Lab, Tailynn was an experienced coach in able-bodied and para sports. She is most passionate about coaching rugby but also loves swimming and cross-country skiing. Working with a broad age range, she has a passion for uplifting the confidence and enjoyment of her clients. When Tailynn isn’t playing rugby or ultimate frisbee, you can find her outside, hiking, or painting.
