Kira completed her Kinesiology degree with Honours at the University of Victoria while also captaining the varsity women's rugby team. She is currently furthering her education with a Masters of Science in Kinesiology with a focus on cerebrovascular physiology in women's health. Kira's academic background combined with her hands-on experience allows her to bring both science and real-world application into her practice as a kinesiologist.
Kira takes a patient-centered approach to health and performance, recognizing that every person has different goals, needs, and experiences. She has worked with a wide range of individuals including youth, competitive athletes, older adults, as well as general populations. Kira believes that rehabilitation is best approached through a comprehensive lens that integrates exercise therapy, education, treatment and support, and she strives to provide this for her clients. She’s passionate about creating a positive environment that empowers people to take ownership of their health and feel strong in their bodies.
Kira is currently working as a kinesiologist at Back to Back Chiropractics Inc. and accepting new clients! She also works for KinStrength - where she works with sports teams, older adults, as well as individualds interested in personal training.
