Alicia graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2008 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. She was a varsity athlete throughout her degree and she has been a certified personal trainer for 15 years. Alicia has worked with a variety of athletes in high performance sports such as football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, rowing and cycling. She specializes in ICBC motor vehicle accident recovery, core activation, motor pattern development and/or retraining, speed, agility, strength and conditioning.
Alicia is also a BikeFit Canada Certified bike fitter.
In 2011 Alicia received the Bobby Steen Legacy Foundation Sport B.C. award which recognizes the dedication and career achievement of an individual in the area of sport, recreation and physical activity working on behalf of women and girls in B.C.
Alicia continues to dedicate her life to the pursuit of sport and is involved in coaching University of the Fraser Valley Rowing and races cyclocross, road, and cross country mountain bike in her spare time.
