Lise obtained her Kinesiology degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a Practicing Member under the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists and is a Canadian Certified Pedorthist (specialist in biomechanics and foot orthotics).
Lise has spent 30 years working in the medical and fitness industry. She has a special interest working with clients who have been injured, are dealing with a chronic condition, are recovering from motor vehicle accidents, surgery or cancer treatments. Lise promotes the team approach to health and wellness. As a movement specialist, she often collaborates with other health care professionals to provide a thorough, effective and appropriate program for her clients. Lise believes health involves physical, nutritional and emotional balance. She instills these philosophies in her programming which often involves yoga, pilates, AIS stretching and homework exercises.
Lise has written articles for several publications and has provided education to Group Fitness Instructors, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Physicians, Massage Therapists, Coaches and Personal Trainers throughout Canada on movement assessment, corrective exercise training and the latest in fitness trends.
