Kim is a Community Practicing Kinesiologist. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree and a Certificate in Health and Fitness from Simon Fraser University and is also certified in Soft Tissue Release. Kim has worked in acute care, clinic, and community based settings and has worked with a wide variety of clients including neurological disorders, athletes, pediatric and geriatric clients, as well as those with injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents or at work. She has experience working with clients dealing with athletic injuries, orthopaedic injuries, soft tissue injuries, concussions, brain injuries, cardiac injuries, stroke, and wheelchair bound patients. Kim has also worked with various sports teams providing on sight care and injury rehab.
As a Kinesiologist, Kim specializes in Rehabilitative Aquatherapy and Fitness Programs, Return to Work Programs, Lifestyle Consulting/Personal Training, and Sport Specific Training. Kim has been involved in aquatic her whole life. She was a lifeguard and taught swimming lessons and aquatic classes for 10 years. She is very experienced in aquatherapy and will help you feel safe even if you are a non-swimmer. As a Rehab Assistant, Kim specializes in Community Re-integration and Cognitive Retraining.
Kim's recreational interests include hiking, camping, weight training, swimming, and dodgeball.
