I graduated from Simon Fraser University where I received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in active health and rehabilitation. While studying at SFU, I also worked as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, which gave me significant experience educating, and developing exercise programs for people of all age groups and varying levels of fitness.
I believe that the best way to approach active rehabilitation is through proper education, so that clients have the knowledge and confidence to perform the exercises within their personalized program in a safe, efficient and effective manner. I use a variety of exercise methods in my program design so that clients will have a collection of tools that they can integrate into their lives inside and outside of the clinic with ease.
In my spare time, I can be found weightlifting at home, going for a run along the Poco trail, or inside the kitchen pretending I'm on MasterChef. I also enjoys hiking, kayaking and camping.
