Illia is a trilingual (Ukrainian, Russian, and English) practicing kinesiologist in BC. He graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology specializing in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of British Columbia in 2021. He also brings experience from working as a Personal Trainer and Group class instructor for the past 5 years.
To expand his knowledge, Illia continued to learn about correcting muscular imbalances, working with injuries, and nutrition. Currently, Illia is undergoing 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and planning to get the Master's in Physiotherapy in the future.
He believes the most effective treatment is considering the whole picture of an individual (such as lifestyle, nutrition, state of mind, and sleep), not just the injured area. Illia's philosophy is that you can never be too good at something and there is always room for improvement. This is reflected in the appointments, digging deeper to discover an individual's short and long-term goals to make realistic progress.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Illia in a gym, playing football, snowboarding up in the mountains, or doing yoga in a park
