Emily graduated in May of 2021 from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics, specializing in Clinical Exercise Physiology.
Through playing sports and growing up close to the mountains, Emily gained an appreciation for movement and the many different ways it can be beneficial both physically and mentally. Ringette, Field hockey, Running, Hiking, Biking, and Skiing were just a few of the avenues through which she found her appreciation for the human body and how it moves, heals, and performs. She is a firm believer that “movement is medicine” and that finding the right movement prescription for every individual has countless benefits and greatly improves overall wellbeing. Her practice as a Kinesiologist focuses largely on the individual, tailoring sessions to fit your needs to help reduce pain, improve movement patterns, as well as build confidence in the way you feel and move.
She works with a variety of ages and abilities in many different types of care. Injury prevention, injury rehab, MVA/ICBC claims, movement coaching, surgery prep and rehab, exercise planning/programming, and more.
