Justin was born and raised in Richmond graduating from the University of British Columbia majoring in Kinesiology. Growing up, he was a multi-sport athlete and competed in high-level soccer and basketball before suffering a meniscus tear injury. As a former patient and now practitioner, these experiences have allowed him to recognize the power of having a functional pain-free body, and how that can contribute to one’s overall health and life satisfaction. Justin is a true believer in the benefits that come from understanding importance of movement health: proper movement techniques, functional mobility, and posture. As a result, he strives to help people live barrier-free by helping individuals excel in their pursuit of wellness whether it is through active rehabilitation, injury prevention, performance/ strength training, or general exercising.
Justin has accumulated lots of clinical and private experience working with diverse populations including neurological, pediatric, pre/postnatal, athletic, motor vehicle accident (MVA), and those suffering from physical injuries. Justin is also a certified soccer referee with experience coaching local high school basketball teams and club soccer teams as well as volunteering at KidsPhysio, Neuromotion.
In his spare time, you can find Justin competing in basketball, weightlifting, exploring the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, or indulging in fashion/ design.
