I'm Julia!
My Kinesiology passion began quite young, as I was fortunate to grow in the active community of Whistler and participate and compete in various sports
I completed my BSc in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria with a minor in Biopsychology, as the brain and body connection has always intrigued me. In my senior years, I interned as a Strength and Conditioning coach for the Varsity team (swimming, field hockey and soccer). I used my own experience as an athlete (MTB) and school to help correct exercises and aid in program planning.
Although I have always had a passion for high performance, I have had much joy in creating exercise programs for folks with physical and cognitive disabilities through specialized programs like Whistler Adaptive and Neurological clinics.
My focus is to create personalized programs for health, performance and injury management/rehabilitation, so that individuals can strive in the activities they enjoy.
