After getting introduced to triathlon at the age of 17, I developed a passion for fitness and health that eventually lead me to pursue a bachelors degree in kinesiology from Simon Fraser University. My increased commitment to triathlon came with an increased incidence of overuse injuries followed my countless physiotherapy visits. Eventually I grew an appreciation for the importance and significance of a well structured active rehab program. Since graduating from SFU I have spent part of my time volunteering at Lions Gate Hospital in the occupational therapy department as well as gained further experience teaching HIIT group fitness classes and training clients one-on-one to help them reach their fitness goals.
When Im not out on my bike, in the pool or running on the trails in North Van you can find me out in the water either kiteboarding or windsurfing!
