Lydia-Rose found her passion for fitness when she was very young and performed as a competitive ballet and contemporary dancer until the age of 18. After that, she attended Simon Fraser University and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a certificate in Active Health and Rehabilitation. Throughout her studies she became a certified BCRPA trainer and volunteered as a Kinesiologist for various varsity sports teams at the University. Her love for health and fitness only grew from there when she decided to become a kinesiologist full time to help and educate others on the benefits of nutrition, fitness and active rehab. Since then, she has added certifications in Functional Movement Screening, Animal Flow design, and she has been an active member of the BC Association of Kinesiologists for four years. Her true passion lies in functional movement and teaching others how to use the greatest tool they have, their own bodies. While Lydia-Rose is always aiming to improve herself physically in the gym, yoga, or at spin class, she also enjoys many outdoor activities that this beautiful city has to offer such as hiking, paddle boarding and cycling.
She is the owner of a kinesiology studio in Point Grey called West Coast Kinetics. West Coast Kinetics offers ICBC active rehabilitation, private kinesiology sessions, stretch and mobility group rehab as well as mobile kinesiology service within the lower mainland area.
