Shireen is a UBC Human Kinetics 2010 graduate. She specializes in physical rehabilitation treating neurological disorders, concussion rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries and motor vehicle accidents. In addition, Shireen steers the Kinesiology mentorship program offering students and Kinesiology graduates the opportunity to develop their skills in a clinical setting. She works as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Registered Massage Therapists, and coordinates with General Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Counsellors and Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapists.
She is known for her upbeat personality and her uncanny ability to successfully inspire, motivate and challenge an athletic population with her creative and customized fitness programs. Shireen will work with you to create and reach your individual goals while being true to her philosophy that exercising should be fun and can be done with a smile.
When Shireen isn’t at work she is outdoors running, hiking, camping and enjoying Beautiful British Columbia with her family. Shireen recently ran her first ultra-marathon and enjoys reaching new goals. On a sunny day you can also spot her riding her candy surf blue Kawasaki motorcycle in her black and yellow corona jacket.
