I graduated from SFU in the summer of 2018 with my BSc Kinesiology degree with a concentration in active health and rehabilitation. My passion for this field runs deeper than what can be covered by books and lecture halls as I am a sports/activity enthusiast and understand what it is like to be limited by injuries and disabilities. My goal as a kinesiologist is to assist as many people as I can and be able to facilitate their aspirations, whatever their limitations may be.
I have been working in a physiotherapy clinic since June of 2017, and have been gaining experience with active rehabilitation ever since. My experience goes beyond the general public as I have been working as a support worker with children with autism with CAN since April of 2016. I have excellent people skills and can speak multiple languages. I also have a valid driver's license with a vehicle, a valid CPR & First Aid Certification, and a Liability Insurance. I am currently working out of Optimal Recovery Physiotherapy in Surrey, BC. I am excited to continue growing and learning every day as I come across new obstacles and challenges as this is just the beginning.
