Dayle was born and raised in Kamloops, British Columbia where she developed a passion for sports and the outdoors, favouring competitive soccer, trail running, and skiing. Multiple avenues of health care came her way after her move to Calgary to certify as an emergency medical responder (EMR) with the Kananaskis Ski patrol, and the Alberta Summer Games. She also worked as a care-aide, assisting clientele with dementia, parkinson’s, and alzheimer’s disease.

After working with a range of ages and abilities from youth to senior, she made the move back to BC to chase her dreams of more personalized, preventative healthcare. Dayle has completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Kinetics at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, and looks forward to pursuing her Master’s in Occupational Therapy in the near future.

Time spent in the sunny Okanagan has helped fulfill her passions in exploring the outdoors and with volunteering in the community. Spare time between her studies consisted of volunteering the KGH Rehab unit, CRIS Foundation, and the Small Steps for Big Changes Diabetes Prevention Program with UBCO.

Dayle aims to embody a multifaceted approach to health care, targeting not only strength and rehabilitation, but with mindfulness techniques, counselling, and behaviour change to help instill attainable health habits for optimal aging across the lifespan.

In her spare time, you can see Dayle out and about exploring the mountains, at a local gym or coffee shop, and spending time with friends and family.
