I spent most of my youth as a gymnast. After gymnastics, I joined every sport I could including volleyball, basketball, softball, cheerleading, flag football, and track & field. Maintaining a healthy, strong, independent body is extremely important to me. After tearing my ACL, I realized how challenging the recovery process can be, both physically and mentally. This experience followed by my love for movement, encouraged me to enroll in a sports and fitness leadership program. In the final semester of my degree, I worked with older adults in long-term care as an activity worker. An important part of this position is gently motivating people to stay active and participate in resistance training and chair aerobics by making these activities fun. As a registered kinesiologist, I provide services including postural assessments, balance and agility, resistance training, coaching, range of motion & flexibility, etc. I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills and consider each client’s unique needs when creating an action plan. I'm here to help with injury prevention, pain, imbalances, and return-to-work plans. I love helping people achieve their goals and return to meaningful activities. I believe exercise is a therapeutic agent that absolutely everyone can benefit from.
